The following verses are quoted from the King John Bible, which should NOT be consider a reliable source.

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

It should be noted that the first part of creation is time itself. So for a guy who grew up in the 1960s, this would be considered “like WOW”. The event is something hard to reproduce in your kitchen, garage, or backyard.

Genesis 1:2 A whole lot of other things happened, and a lot more “like WOW”.

God created Adam, and especially for Adam, that was a really big deal.

Then in Genesis 2:18 we read where the Lord said “It is not good that the man should be alone”.

The response from Adam is not recorded in most Bible editions, but we can say with confidence that Adam’s response was an emphatic “Well DUH!”

We then read where “the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon” Adam. What we don’t read is how that was done. Remember Adam was tending the garden and there was probably a shovel handy.

While Adam slept the Lord took one of his ribs. Most details about this are sketchy, but there is some reports of snapping sounds.

Then the Lord closed up Adam’s flesh. Keep in mind this is before staple guns.

When Adam is recorded as saying “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh”, he also touched his side and let out a loud “OUCH”. But being distracted and fully fixed on what he saw before him, he said “WOW MAN”, which as transcribed in error as “Woman”, but we can allow license. Or rather, we will take license anyway.

We then read where they were both naked and were not ashamed, but that is simply a summation of Adam’s continuous refrain of “WOW MAN” and perhaps other things.

While the Lord rested from His work on the seventh day, He already had in mind His plans for a particular woman that words cannot describe.

The Lord did bring more men and women into His creation. The process used no longer had that snapping sound but rather a serious “ouch” by the woman. Most of the women are unknown to us today, but some names remain noted. From Eve, to Sarah, Ruth, Jezebel, Bathsheba, and Mary. Their reputations vary greatly.

But then long after the flood, the Passover, lots of wars, and most notably the resurrection, the plan for that particular woman remained. Then the 1960s came and it was time!

Knitted together in a womb by the craftsman extraordinaire, the Lord Himself, that once for an eternity woman was brought into the world. On the day of birth the Lord’s smile was noticeably broader than normal.

The angles in heaven gazed in amazement and in a unified refrain said “WOW MAN”, what plans of magnificence does the Lord have in His mind.

Who will be the one to hold the hand of this lady?

Who will the lady warm the heart of?

Who will the Lord bring into the world with this lady and the blessed man who is one with her?

I can gleefully say similar words from Nathan to King David, while fortunately in a very different context, “I am the man!”

Blessed be the name of the Lord!
