Laurel-Snow Trail, Dayton, TN

Trip details

About 9 miles of hiking including 600 feet of elevation gain.

At one point we stood at Buzzard Point. Behind us in the photos is about a 120 foot drop almost vertical. I was not comfortable there.

Near an overlook at Buzzard Point we saw numerous hawks flying above and below us. Many flew very close, perhaps only 20 feet from us.
