– I did a video on why a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ should not vote. With a combined viewership of over 100 and numerous dialogs, not one would address the Scripture I presented. This concerns me. However, I am celebrating the Lord’s gift of being able now to contend from Scripture, clearly, boldly, and with grace.

In the same way I made a video on young earth creation which also has a combined viewership of over 100 and again numerous dialogs. At least some would address the Scripture, but still more insults than rational dialog.

I am now involved in a dialog on something I have not addressed much, homosexuality. One person is taking a stand that the Scripture is unclear. While I have not addressed it much, I have done some serious study as it is part of the vast quantity of Scripture on sex. It is blatant that homosexuality is a heinous sin. As I wrote:

No matter how the story in Genesis 19 is twisted into things like not showing hospitality or learning forbidden knowledge, the evidence from Scripture is clear that it was a rampant sexual nature.

When we read in Jude 1:7 “sexual immorality” (ESV) or “gross immorality” (NASB) it comes from the Greek “ekporneuō” or as Thayer defines “to go a whoring, “give one’s self over to fornication””. If you see the root “porn” in the word, you are seeing correctly.

But remember 1Co6. Verses 9 and 10 make it explicitly clear that homosexuality is an unacceptable sin, but verse 11 shows the Lord’s offer of magnificent grace with “Such were some of you”. Repentance is called for and grace is available.

Note the “ek” in “ekporneuō” which means exceedingly. “porneuō” includes prostitution, lust, unlawful sex and idolatry, which is based on “pornē” which is specifically a woman selling her body, which is in turn based on “pornos” which is a man selling his body. There is no ambiguity here.

The “effeminate” (“malakos”) in 1Co6:9 is based on the idea of soft and is the male playing the female role in a sexual relationship. The “homosexuals” (“arsenokoitēs”) comes from “arsēn” or male and “koitē” or a place to lay, adultery or other unlawful sex.

The Scripture is a hardcore document and very specific. It needs to be seen clearly and only then can you see the magnificence of the Lord’s grace. I often describe 1Co6:11 as one of the loudest shouts of grace in Scripture. By the Lord’s grace, this I contend on and pray for. Those that distort this are not offering love.

In the same way the scripture is clear that marriage is defined by sex and ends with death. Those that twist the Scripture into other meanings or turn to the Talmud are not offering love, and yes, I specifically am pointing to Jim Cross. But again there is grace.

Denying the Lord’s command to reconcile (Matthew 5:24), plugging your ears, refusing dialog, proclaiming a false doctrine is disgusting. But again there is grace.

I have stated frequently the only difference between Fritz Erbe and me is I have a nicer hole to live in. The institutional church offers the same hate to him as they now offer to me. But again there is grace.

I suggest it is time to send the police again to try to stop me for pursing reconciliation. This time not just intimidation but you better get me locked up or killed, because I am not going to stop proclaiming the Scripture as best I can and living out the command to pursue reconciliation.
