There is a long voicemail and one of the thing discussed is the photo below. Note the mom and dad are simply mouths and the kid is only an ear. My suggestion is that this kid, and those that are in reality like him, have it better than our kids. At least kids like this see both parents communicating. Perhaps it is poorly, but they are communicating. My wife and I did not have these kinds of shouting matches, she simply kept silent and abandoned the marriage.

But this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. That is obviously Lamentations 3:21-23 and typed from memory as I ponder it a lot noting the first verse. It gives me hope, even for my wife and myself.
