Call attempt #641 - Day 948 - To a Sweet 16 from a Christian Dad

Obviously I am trying to leave a legacy via video for my kids so that someday at least some might know that their dad tried to reconcile the family. Just as I sent the videos to ErikaLeigh and Susanna recently, I will continue to push these out until reconciliation occurs or I am dead. We are approaching 1000 days, so I think you have evidence of my stamina in pursuing this.

The videos on YouTube are essentially ignored, but it is interesting to me that this year’s videos on Marzieh Hashemi and homosexuality have garnered many views. BitChute has been where I have an audience and well over a hundred views a week. I have no idea who is watching, how much they are watching, why they are watching, and if they get anything out of it. But it is clear they are watching.

It does seem clear that releasing a video late on Sunday is not a good idea for building an audience, but there have been 16 views in the first 24 hours on the video for Susanna. The difference with my videos compared to most is that they are mostly timeless. The content remains valuable even long after they are done. Consider my top 4 and their view count:

204 The Illusion of Blockchain

184 Young Earth Creation – Don’t miss the obvious

174 Obedience to Christ or Social Security

148 Marriage Defined and a Commitment Beyond

All of them continue to get several views per week. I think the last is due to the cute pictures that are better than cat videos. But also notice that 3 of the 4 are full of Scripture quotes and I suggest a solid exegesis.

While my audience on BitChute is essentially the size of a modest institutional church, on my privacy or technical videos I am now getting over a thousand views. Clearly with a bit of promotion the videos based on Scripture might do the same. Since my family remains silent, this concept remains on the table and is developing.

Yesterday’s video was not as clear as I would have liked and did start slow, but I suggest the content is solid and wise loving advice. As I read the email in today’s voicemail, I am repeating it below.

Dorothy-Jane, I love you. As I committed to you decades ago, I am not giving up on you!

Family,

To my joy, I have another daughter who has reached 16 years of age today. To my grief, I have not had direct communication with her in well over two years, and have not been able to embrace her in almost 7. However, Susanna is still my daughter and loved by her dad. She is not the only one, as you are aware.

To attempt to communicate with her, her sisters, her brothers, and most importantly her mom, another video has gone online a few minutes ago. It will rate as one of my most politically incorrect as I use 1Co11, 1Peter3, Eph5, and Prov 31. These are parts of the Bible you will find in the unused parts of the pew bibles at Meadowview.

So, can anyone point out from Scripture where I got it wrong? More importantly, does anyone consider the Scripture as their authority? Obviously the second question is only rhetorical.

To my joy “Marriage Defined and a Commitment Beyond” has moved to the #4 spot in my top 10 on Bitchute, and did so 3 months faster than the top 3. It is my guess that there is interest in the subject from a Christian perspective. When I have the occasional face-to-face conversation on the subject, I do find interested ears. There seems to be a yearning for the Scripture, but it does seem like it is unwelcome in the institutional church, unless you can twist a verse to your benefit.

I have made it clear that I am not playing at this and I will use these techniques to break down the walls between my family and me. Those who block communications, it is my contention, are spitting in the face of the Lord by offering such a degree of hate toward others that even Pontius Pilate would be considered a nice rational guy.

But then there is grace. I remain willing to share in that with others, and it remains my desire that it starts with Jim Cross. But as so often stated, it takes us both.

Let me remind you again about the passage in Galatians 2 where Paul calls out Peter essentially as a fraud. Mr. Cross, if you still claim to be a follower of Christ and a leader in the institutional church, you are a fraud in the same way as Peter. However, just as the Scripture makes so very clear in the final words of Peter, there was reconciliation. It remains my hope we can follow that model, but if you refuse it will not happen. Since it happened to me in such a vivid way, let me remind you of the reconciliation with John Painter that I discussed in “The Artistry of John Painter – A dialog on Reconciliation”, and “Naming Names”.

If anyone is interested in pursuing this further, you know how to contact me.

I love you all! That is especially true of my wife, Dorothy-Jane Kozlowski, the most beautiful of all of God’s creations.
