I have a very serious concern for my family! The logs for the Kozlowski.org and Family.Kozlowski.org sites are typically deleted in about a day and I normally do not review them. So you typically have little to be concerned that I am tracking you. Because of the popularity of Saturday’s video I have gotten some traffic directly on Kozlowski.org and was checking on that. What I found is that this morning someone reported as near Thomasville, NC attempted to watch several videos listed below. What I can tell is that it was an iPhone running iOS version 12.3.1. I have times, IP addresses, and a rough guess as location.

The viewer was unsuccessful. Try with an Android device, or a desktop and it should work fine. Part of the issue is the techniques used by Apple give greater tracking of your viewing and it is a concern.

If your thoughts are a concern about how much I know, you are missing so very much. The details above I know and that is about it, and normally I don’t review or keep them. But the details Apple knows are gargantuan in comparison. I have a rough idea about location. They can place you within a few feet, including height above sea level, which would indicate which floor you are on. The phone picks up a lot of telemetry and what it is measuring is you AND those around you. It does its work 24 hours a day and if you think you can turn it off or disable some of it, you have been fooled. The reason Siri can answer question is that it is constantly listening to you AND the environment around you. What you say, how you say it, and what is happening around you isn’t just staying in your phone, but is being reported to Apple. If you think this is benign, you are simply a FOOL!

When I saw the log this morning and because of what was viewed and the rough location, it was reasonable to assume it might be a family member. It could have been someone from Meadowview since there are those that know about the site. But when I saw it was an iPhone, I became concerned and disappointed. I love my family.

The analogy of China is often used and their “Once untrustworthy, always restricted” policy. You get caught once, you cannot be removed from the restricted list and the restrictions are heavy and you are probably moved up on the involuntary organ harvesting list. The restricted list now exceeds 20 million people. In the US we are a bit more subtle, but becoming more open about the cost of being “incorrect” in something we say or do. This directly relates to Saturday’s video.

I don’t know if this was someone in my family. I have a high degree of confidence they will never read this. There is little hope they will consider what I write or even less engage me in dialog on this. I also understand, and it is NOT hyperbole, that it is easier to recover from being an alcoholic or heroin addict that being an iPhone user.

There is a desire to continue on this, but in a way it seems useless. The bottom line is that I am in love with my family and concerned for them that they are being enveloped by the world. It seems that if you are at Meadowview, this is exactly what I should expect. But then there is the Lord and His grace. It remains my prayer that the Lord grant’s His grace to my family, and that includes Jim Cross.
