I mentioned an interview I watched with Thae Yong-ho, a former diplomat from North Korea who defected. The summary of a point he made was that the greater power you have, the less freedom you have. I suggest this is simply another perspective of the concept I promote that the institution is not your friend. The institution cannot love as that is only the act of a person.
