Call attempt #736 - Day 1,081 - Did I scare Chris Bitterman? - More VPN humor - The blessing of the state's delaying funds to you

First the vital and important humor: I sent a short email note to my friend Chris Prince, but it was accidently sent to Chris Bitterman. Hopefully he did not take it as a death threat this time as I did not mention reconciliation at any point, so he should be safe. He doesn’t have to send the police again.

Just before my call I got an email from another friend, Daniel New, who is the dad of Michael New who had his fifteen minutes of fame back in the 90s. He forwarded an email he got from a friend of his that mentioned numerous things including the use of a VPN. I responded to him with a link to “The VPN Didn’t help – Mr. Cross we need to reconcile!” (http://family.kozlowski.org/2019-07-15+1). This mentions the power of the state, which is the next point.

As required, I did contact the state today. The information I got is that I must pay $2,600 by early October to you via the state in lump sum. Partial payments will not be credited. Therefore, the state is again being a blessing to you in that I am now taking the $333 per week that I was going to be sending to you and holding on to it until October. Those payments will add up to about $2,600, but you don’t get it until then. Isn’t bowing to the state wonderful!!! When the Lord calls turning to the state a shameful thing in 1Co6, He must have not considered the joy of our state, right? After all, the popular song of so many years ago must have given a clue with: “What’s love got to do with it?” Oh yes, I remember, EVERYTHING! There is still hope and I remain willing!

This is such a disappointing fiasco that without a bit of satire I would fall apart. But beyond the satire, there is the serious. Obedience to Christ is vital and we should both live it. Living in silence toward the man you promised your life to who is desperately trying to reconcile his family is not living in obedience to Christ as no love is being shown by you, your dad, or Chris Bitterman. Love is shown by perseverance in pursuit of reconciliation. There is a growing list of people who have marveled at the effort I have been making to reconcile my family. This is the Lord’s blessing to me. To you also if you are willing.

So again, did you fall in love with a man who drove a nice new BMW, or one who was pursuing the Lord, however clumsy? If the former, we and you have no hope. If the latter, I’m here for you alone. There is no one else for me but you.

Dorothy-Jane, I remain seriously in love with you!
