Call attempt #882 - Day 1,285 - Reconcile 30 ● Obedience to God only when you need it

I wrote and did the video earlier today wondering about needing God only when in felt need, not realizing we need Him each moment. But remember, He can’t be bought, and it is not Santa-Christ we appeal to but the Lord Jesus Christ who gave us a command to love. Offering silence to someone who is appealing to you for reconciliation is not love. Does your Bible have 1st John 2 in it? If so, you might give it a read.

Dorothy-Jane, I love you and am reaching out to you for reconciliation. I think that is clear. Please reach back!

Family,

I have been thinking about my friend Mike after a visit yesterday. Mike is the drug dealer turned “guest of the state” for I think it was six years. He also has issues related to working with Agent Orange during the Vietnam War, but there is question on how much it is real and how much it is an excuse. He is also dealing with cancer and has been undergoing some form of a localized chemotherapy. To a degree he seems to have bounced back.

But that is the issue. When he was near the bottom and death seemed close, he reached out to God and told me about it. Now the guy I knew before seems back. A guy that would take people to court or scheme for his gain, as he is currently doing both.

Is God real? Is the Bible true? Is Jesus Christ who He claims to be? If so, does it have an impact on your life now, or only when you need Him?

Is the command to love something that is important to you? Are you willing to live that out in reconciliation?

I love you all!
