I was disappointed but not surprised that nothing came this weekend. What I don’t know is if it was because you didn’t know or didn’t want to. So I will press on in my attempt to love you and reconcile with you.

Water, Zadok, and Family,

There was a tiny bit of hope seen last Friday as I got an email from my wife. It was a simple light pleasantry that I wondered if it was a source of hope or salt in a wound. In pursuing hope, I made a request to my wife that she would confirm that hope by sending me a photo of my youngest two sons, Walter and Zadok, since when I look at one of the few photos I have of them, if it is only one of them I don’t know which. I haven’t seen my sons in almost 8 years and I don’t know what they look like.

Nothing arrived.

It was my desire to encourage Walter and Zadok, irrespective of the lack of that shown me, so today’s video is addressed to the two of you. It is something that I hope sinks in as the reference used is the Bible (that would be the book under all the dust, or what people wipe their feet on when entering Meadowview). You might ask why that parenthetical statement? There is a difference between having a Bible, reading a Bible, believing the Bible, and living the commands in the Bible. I hope the two of you grow to know that difference and live in obedience to the Lord and do so with joy. Consider Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18 as a good starting point. Yes, that is Old Testament, but rather vital don’t you think?

I have been sending DVDs to others, and will probably send the two of you a set this week considering the content of today’s video. Over the years when I have discussed our family situation with others, there are a few who say something like “just move on” or “give up”. But for the most part they have not been part of those who at least claim to follow Christ. Then there are many who have stated they felt encouraged to see someone who has not given up on reconciliation. Considering the encouragement to others and the ability to have yet another copy of these videos available to my family, I am considering putting the entire “Reconcile 30” series on Brighteon. Obviously this exposes our family to a wider audience, but it will probably only be a few dozen. I’d asked what others thought, but is there any point?

It seems to have received little coverage in the media, but Stella Morris went public yesterday that the father of her two kids is Julian Assange. Photos of him holding his baby son Gabriel who was born in 2016 while he was in the Ecuadorian embassy in London are a bit of a reminder of my holding Walter or Zadok. Like Assange, I don’t get to hold, talk to, or embrace my sons. The similarities continue to abound.

To have that come out the very weekend that I asked my wife for a photo of Walter and Zadok was more than simply interesting. I want to be able to tell my youngest two sons apart. Do you know what it is like to live like this? Do you want it to continue? Do you have the same aura of a believer in Christ as Mike “we lie, we cheat, we steal” Pompeo? I think you can guess what the evidence suggests.

This doesn’t have to continue.

A whole lot of institutional churches are not gathering this year for Easter. They are living in fear of the Panic-Demic. See Proverbs 28:1. Please remember what Easter is supposed to mark: “apokatallassō”!

My Lady, and Family,

I was reminded today how we can be so clumsy when we are trying to do good to someone or be polite. As described in the video that happened again to me today and I’m still trying to do better at it.

It makes me think about my wife and why she sent me an email yesterday. If it was showing the love I have seen from her in years past, then this clumsy guy will continue to do clumsy things in his clumsy way to reconcile his relationship with the Lord’s most precious creation, the lady He spent a bit of extra time making just right, the wonderful woman I call my wife.

Remember the guy who has continued for over 900 voicemails is trying to reconcile his family. The guy who when he got to top of Big Frog Mountain had one focus that I shared with the world, to tell my wife I love her! The guy who repeatedly showed where his heart was when he moved. The guy who unwaveringly publicly states that he has one lady, will always have only one lady, remains totally in love with and committed to his lady, and so very much wants his lady back. The kids would also be a good idea.

If any of this resonates with you, please do as I asked in the voicemail email yesterday and send me a photo of Walter and Zadok so I can tell them apart. They are my sons. I am their dad. You are my wife. I am your husband. Let us all be an example of what it is to love. Please!
