This is a long voicemail about an event with my friend Chris today and how it was a reminder of my love for and commitment to my wife. It was also a reminder of the joy of having a friend who is truly a brother in Christ.

I have also been doing some review of Scripture to make the case that the Bible is a scientific document. One of the points described today is Genesis 1:21 “And God saw that it was good”. Science, by definition, is something observed or knowledge. No one has “observed” the Big Bang, as it is only a theory. It is NOT science by definition. However, we do have an observer of creation, the Lord Himself. That, by definition, is science as “God saw it”. The word “saw” in the Septuagint is “eidō” which is to see and to know, as in the definition of science. This is marvelous stuff.
