I made a new record on the Greenway Sunday. 4.2 miles at 4.7MPH or 53:22. That is 3 seconds faster than last year. What a joy! The fanfare was tremendous!

We are planning on installing our second store in Barbados tomorrow while they are under the cloud from the volcano from St. Vincent.

There is a discussion of 2nd Peter 1, so I will repeat the email I sent:

I wanted to share a real joy we had today in a dialog on 2nd Peter 1:

My friend Chris and I have reviewed this verse several times in the last few years and today it was time to find out what it really is stating. The struggle has been the word “supplement” as it seems not to make sense, especially from a monergistic perspective.

The word comes from the Greek “epichorēgeō” which is based on “chorēgeō”. If you see “chorus” in that, you are right. And suddenly we saw the music in the verse. You can literally see the choreography with the list of “virtue”, “knowledge”, “self-control”, “steadfastness”, “godliness”, “brotherly affection”, and “love”.

Later we see verse 11:

What you don’t see in the ESV is “provided” is the same word “epichorēgeō”. If you look deeper into the whole passage you can see that the choreographer is the Lord. You might consider looking into the chapter with this insight. Perhaps you will find the joy we had today in it. It would be wonderful to share that with you.
