Second Corinthians 4 - LSV

4:7  And we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not of us;

4:8  being in tribulation in every [way], but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;

4:9  persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

4:10  at all times carrying around in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body,

4:11  for we who are living are always delivered up to death because of Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our dying flesh,

4:12  so that, death indeed works in us, and life in you.

4:13  And having the same spirit of faith, according to that which has been written: “I believed, therefore I spoke”; we also believe, therefore we also speak;

4:14  knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus, will also raise us up through Jesus, and will present with you,

4:15  for all things [are] because of you, that the grace having been multiplied, because of the thanksgiving of the more, may abound to the glory of God;

4:16  for this reason, we do not faint, but if our outward man also decays, yet the inward is renewed day by day;

4:17  for the momentary light matter of our tribulation works out for us more and more an exceedingly continuous weight of glory—

4:18  we [are] not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen [are] temporary, but the things not seen [are] continuous.

Psalm 116 - LSV

116:1  I have loved, because YHWH hears My voice, my supplication,

116:2  Because He has inclined His ear to me, || And during my days I call.

116:3  Cords of death have surrounded me, || And straits of Sheol have found me, || I find distress and sorrow.

116:4  And in the Name of YHWH I call: Ah, now, O YHWH, deliver my soul,

116:5  YHWH [is] gracious, and righteous, || Indeed, our God [is] merciful,

116:6  YHWH [is] a preserver of the simple, || I was low, and He gives salvation to me.

116:7  Return, O my soul, to your rest, || For YHWH has conferred benefits on you.

116:8  For You have delivered my soul from death, || My eyes from tears, my feet from overthrowing.

116:9  I habitually walk before YHWH || In the lands of the living.

116:10  I have believed, for I speak, || I have been greatly afflicted.

116:11  I said in my haste, “Every man [is] a liar.”

116:12  What do I return to YHWH? All His benefits [are] on me.

116:13  I lift up the cup of salvation, || And in the Name of YHWH I call.

116:14  Let me complete my vows to YHWH, || Now, before all His people.

116:15  Precious in the eyes of YHWH [is] the death for His saints.

116:16  Ah, now, O YHWH, for I [am] Your servant; I [am] Your servant, son of Your handmaid; You have opened my bonds.

116:17  I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanks to You, || And in the Name of YHWH I call.

116:18  Let me complete my vows to YHWH, || Now, before all His people,

116:19  In the courts of the house of YHWH, || In your midst, O Jerusalem, praise YAH!
