1Co 8:1 And concerning the things sacrificed to idols, we have known(eidō) that we all have knowledge(gnōsis): knowledge(gnōsis) puffs up, but love builds up;

1Co 8:2 and if anyone thinks to know(eidō) anything, he has not yet known(ginōskō) anything according as it is required to know(ginōskō);

1Co 8:3 and if anyone loves God, this one has been known(ginōskō) by Him.

1Co 8:1 Now concerning food offered to idols: we know that "all of us possess knowledge." This "knowledge" puffs up, but love builds up.

1Co 8:2 If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.

1Co 8:3 But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.
