Last year the US government detained an Iranian without charge and has kept him in prison for a year now. This is not unusual for the US and it happens repeatedly, but isn’t talked about. I watched a video on the matter from an Iranian perspective: “Jailing Iranian scientist” (https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/10/22/609339/JAILING-IRANIAN-SCIENTIST). One of the panelists is often the host of the program, but she also was “detained” by the US government earlier this year. I did a video on it back then: “A Christian Perspective on the US Detention of Iran’s PressTV Journalist Marzieh Hashemi”. It is described below in #586, Day 873 – Mon Jan 21, 2019. Hashemi stated at the close of today’s program “The United States has to be pressured into doing what is right.” I understand this and think it is consistent with the idea that the institutional church has to be pressured into doing what is right.

Mr. Cross, I will also keep the pressure on you until we celebrate as brothers, or one of us is dead. I suggest your choice is love or cowardice. Remember Rev 21:8.
