I had a conversation with Jim and Sharron Leonard today. Both have serious health issues, and both are younger than me. They have each other and take joy in that.

Tomorrow I will probably see Gary and Lynn again. Both have serious health issues, but at least Gary is older than I. They have each other and take joy in it, and it shows!

Tomorrow I will probably take the 7 mile hike to Publix and the farmers’ market. It will probably take me my typical 90 minutes. I’m in great shape, but alone. Would I trade my health to be like Jim and Sharron or Gary and Lynn to have my wife at my side? YES!
