The Deed owner is the client to a server that is being notified of actions and logs.

The path and query can be used to view a summary of what is being conveyed, and the message body will contain the details.

Messages are sent using HTTP POST.

URL Path

The path will always be in the form “/[Service]-[Y-M-D-H-N-S],[Seq].Deed”.

The Service select where the data will be.

The time will be the second when the Deed was initiated and remain unchanged.

A Sequence number will always exist.

The Extension will be “.Deed” to allow the server an additional indication that this is a Deed notification.

URL Query

The query will begin with a “Deed_Notify_...” command with an optional value. This will indicate the overall intent of the message.

Message Body

The request’s message body will be a <Shofar> XML message. It will always include a <Deed> element with a “Notify” attribute containing a copy of the query. Additional data may be included as required for the specific message.

The server’s message body must be a <Shofar> XML message. It must include a <Deed> element with a “Reply” attribute, typically with a “OK” value. Additional data may be included.
