Today has some special joys and I am grateful for the Lord’s blessing! As a reminder since I hear the same recording when I call, I have been starting my response with the same words: “This is the dad trying to get ahold of his kids; the husband trying to reconcile with his wife; because I am in love with you, and because I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.” However, today I was also able to speak of my interaction with two of my kids!

I got a box in the mail from ErikaLeigh with a T-shirt stating “My favorite writer calls me dad”. I responded with a silly video, of course. She responded by saying Leo watched it several times and found it funny. This granddaddy was VERY PLEASED to read that!

Yesterday Julia sent me a six second video of James jumping in her belly. I am embarrassed to say how many times I have watched it, but the number is over three.

These two simple interactions have brought such joy to this lonely man.
