I was on the radio again in Chattanooga for most of the half hour segment with David Tulis. You can listen to “Google’s Censoring, Health and Control” at http://kozlowski.org/2019-06-25+1. Near the end I stood in disagreement with David and I hope it was well received. David is a good friend and also struggles with the institutional church.

I did my now normal Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday trip to the farmers’ market and the juice bar. It is a delightful set of relationships. It is great to walk into the store and by the time I get back to the juice bar the one young lady that knows me will have a “ginger shot” ready for me. It is great and will make your face collapse. I suggest it is part of the reason for my state of health. But Alli, a woman I have known for years, cheerfully approached me as I entered the store to tell me of a recent event. She was with her husband driving to Chattanooga to celebrate their seventh anniversary and got a call from a neighbor that strong winds or even a brief tornado touched down at their home. A nearby home had roof damage and a lot of trees were down. But the car in their driveway and their home were fine while the yard and driveway were covered in downed trees. They continued to Chattanooga to celebrate. Even after the difficulties in life, and there was a bit of fiasco to deal with, the focus was celebrating the two that became one.

Next May my wife and I will mark 30 years as two that have become one. Will it be a celebration, even though there have been a lot of fiascos, or will it be another day of mourning? I suggest and welcome the former. I ask for it.
