More dialog was found today on how the PCA is falling apart. My suggestion is to jump ship as I have. But not to another denomination, but to direct fellowship with others, as in with the called out ones. Much is made of issues in the PCA, such as with the Federal Vision, or the Revoice Conference. Long ago I became concerned with some dialogs where flexibility was offered on the creation account in Genesis. But this is politics. What is important are the fundamentals, notably love. The obvious example is that Jim Cross, Render Caines, and Chris Bitterman seem to be living 1 John 2:11 (hate) rather than 2:10 (love). A quick reminder that the waterboarding offer remains on the table.

Someone who loves would be willing to pursue reconciliation with one who is seeking that rather than send the police to shut me up. Someone who loves would not give up on pursing reconciliation, even if it takes over 700 voicemails. Someone who loves the Lord would be willing to proclaim why when asked (1Peter3:15).

Someone who is deceived or a deceiver would put on a fancy robe, stand behind a pulpit, proclaim obedience to the Lord as the institution defines, but shun those who challenge him. Yes, I am talking about you Mr. Caines and Mr. Bitterman. You are described in Matthew 23, and you probably know that unless your conscience is seared. But again, there is grace. Wouldn’t it be marvelous to share in that?

It is the milestone of 700 consecutive voicemails. Back when we reached 300, I stated I would be in this to 1,000 and beyond. I’m not giving up because my family is too important, and my wife needs to reconcile with her husband.

Dorothy-Jane, I still love you. This can be seen in that my love has not faded even when your love seems to have vanished. But again there is grace!
