Call attempt #804 - Day 1,174 - Governor Ray Blanton and more on dispensationalists and grace

There are some comments about former Tennessee Governor Ray Blanton who was sentence to prison on August 15, 1981 and served time in Montgomery, Alabama. This is one of those two degrees of separation cases.

My dialogs continue with Mormons, but still not the PCA.

There is a review of 1st Peter 3:15: “in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect”. I believe I did this well yesterday when the dispensationalist couple literally shouted at me in the store. EXCEPT for my last line. Our model to follow is the Lord Jesus Christ. When speaking about “Love your enemies” he concluded in Matthew 5:48 “You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” While I think I did well yesterday, my one sentence was delivered inappropriately and therefore I was unquestionably imperfect or in other words wrong. It has been on my mind today.

However, it must be kept in mind that being so shy to hide from these encounters is far worse than making a mistake during them. Please remember Revelation 21:8.

I so want to share this dialog with my family.

Dorothy-Jane, my lady, the joy of my life, and the only one who can live out Ecclesiastes 9:9 with me, I love you!
