This is what happens when you promote multiculturalism and let your daughters go to Muslim countries believing "everyone is the same".

Look at it. Go watch the videos of these girls being slaughtered begging for their mothers.

Come Monday night or Tuesday morning, they'll be in "church," dancing to the rock and roll and praying for equality and the blessings of DIEversity - blessings to include having one's head lopped off by sand savages.

rawrites I came to Poland from Canada under the same diversity impression I was brought up with in the 1980s: everyone is the same. As a friend put it to me, they may look like clones but they're running different software.

I did not end up losing my head in Poland but I did end up losing my life, as my fundraising makes it all too clear. It was a struggle, and continues to be a struggle, to bridge the cultural divide between myself and my wife - in spite of the love and respect we share that, frankly, without it would have turned our relationship violent. I see the problems our "3rd culture kid" is suffering. Third-Culture Kids is the new propaganda slogan to sell society on dysfunctional or broken families.

So, my point: using less extreme examples, the same problem remains. And now we need to return to Canada. My wife understands how a Canadian culture will benefit our daughter and is resigned to whatever will become of her outside her culture, knowing my example in her Bolshevik-driven culture. I have a much more positive outlook - the kind of outlook that has driven industry and informed innovation back home for over a century.

@over70, I think we agree that the Scripture is true and the Quran is false. However, I fail to find anywhere in the Scripture that calls us to kill the Muslim. President Bush killed millions. President Obama continued the venture and added making death by drone commonplace. President Trump is killing Muslims faster than Obama. This is a good thing? My Bible has Matthew 5. Romans 12, and let me add 1st Samuel 8. How about yours?

Let me also point out how easy it is to find a sensational story or photo to demonize others or their group. Around the world roughly one out of every 300 people is in abject slavery, and a large part of that is sex slaves. In the US the numbers are not very different, especially during the Super Bowl. If we show a photo of some of the horrors caused by that, would you condemn all Americans?

If you are a young black man and live in Chicago, you are far more likely to die a violent death than most other places in the world. Should we condemn all Americans because of that?

If you are an unborn child, you are more likely to be ripped to pieces before birth than in a Muslim country. Should we condemn all Americans because of that?

On this last item, I’ve got plenty of photos. Do you really what to have to stomach them?

Christian charity remains to only go so far when faced with the demons of hell. And I am not intentionally metaphorically trying to demonize.

Yes, in these end days we are all living on the grace of Jesus and the patience of his Father Who art in heaven. All of us, including Satan I may add. This circumstance will end with Armeghedon and not before. And until this time, cultures will be diverse and not fall into song. The New Song to be sung will happen only after judgement has been carried out.

The best we can hope for at this wicked time is to live within a culture where photos such as you describe or @Derek has shared here receive a response from us that reflects congruity with the teachings of Jesus. To turn the other cheek is to live and let live, not to embrace the other's lifestyle.

These girls were outside their culture. Did they get what they deserved? We think not, simply because this is outside our cultural frame. But what if I were to tell you that they did deserve to be beheaded according to the culture into which they travelled....? You could only argue from outside the law of judgement, unless you were of the culture.

Orpheus went to Hades to bring back his wife Eurydice, and he had to play by the rules there. Is it not the same here? These two walked into Hades and were judged. They will come back during the resurrection, perhaps wiser. Until then, we wait on God and keep ourselves separate from what is bad.

@derek is it because I pointed out how in your other post you used a deceptive photo that you offered such a graceful tone in your reply to me?

@derek, and @rawrites, please note that I offer no disrespect to the two women in the photo or anyone else who has been the victim of hate. However, there is a common diatribe here about how bad the Muslims are and it is often based on falsehood, as the other photo Derek used clearly is.

Islam is false, but deal with it rationally and lovingly. If we simply fuel anger, it will come back on us and remember we in the West kill well over an order of magnitude more Muslims then they do of those in the West. When we find the sensational photos or stories we are justifying our own hate, but offering no comfort to those who have been hurt.

My case is going to be from the Scripture, and not a story about Orpheus.
